I was looking through some of my previous projects and found some gorgeous layered pictures I’ve created. They’re inspired by the coast, India and mark-making. I’ve put them together using photos, magazines, newspapers, paint, acetate, tissue paper, charcoal, anything that worked, really! Which is your favourite?
3 broken needles later…. my sewing machine and I are no longer friends, but I did end up with a nice picture of the boats at Holy island!
I’m taking part in Alnmouth Arts Festival in June so I’ve stepped up the art work! Here’s a sneaky peak of a few of the first paintings. I’m going to get my sewing machine out next week so watch this space!
