I love the silhouette of boats, especially tall ships. Unfortunately there aren’t many of those hanging around at home! I have managed to snap a few nice shapes down by the beach to work from.

Flowery Photo Shoot
I’ve been on a very fun photo shoot today with loads of flowers and cake! It’s been such a beautiful sunny day too. The balcony door was open in the studio and the sun was streaming in. It almost felt summery?? I came away with some gorgeous flowers though. I wish they lasted longer! I think bright pink and turquoise has to be one of my favourite colour combinations!
Durham Doorways
While I was up at home, my brother and I took our Dad to Durham for the day. I was snapping away as much as I could but they wouldn’t have had much patience for me if I kept making them stop! So please excuse the flash reflections 🙂 There’s some beautiful doorways in Durham; a mixture of painted and wooden. Gorgeous colours and archways everywhere!
Stripy Coastlines
The best thing about Northumberland is definitely the beautiful beaches. I had a nice wander along a few of my favourite ones while I was at home last week. There’s so many layers of colours and textures on the coast. Natural stripes are everywhere!
Alnmouth Arts Festival
Well, it’s official! I’m up on the website for Alnmouth Arts Festival! I’m Iooking forward to meeting all of the other artists and hopefully selling a painting or 2! The Ferry Hut will be my home for the weekend at the end of June. I hope it’s nice weather! The pup may put in an appearance too…
